## What is Kai Companion?

Kai Companion is a personal safety app for iPhone and iPad. When you need help, one silent trigger starts your help chain: Kai sends an SMS with your current GPS location as an Apple Maps link to all your trusted contacts and places an automatic phone call to your primary contact. It works without an internet connection, and your contacts do not need to install any app. It also works with Apple Watch for fall detection and vital signs monitoring.

## The Help Chain (core feature)

1. **Trigger**: Siri voice command ("Hey Siri, Bravo"), safety button (press and hold, with a 3 second cancel countdown), check-in timer, lock screen / Dynamic Island in Companion Mode, or automatic fall detection.
2. **Location**: Kai reads your current GPS position on the iPhone and sends it as an Apple Maps link via SMS to all trusted contacts at the same time.
3. **Call**: Kai automatically calls your primary contact.

Everything happens silently, without Wi-Fi or mobile data, directly from your iPhone. Your location is shared only with the contacts you chose.
